This ability has turned the uncommon into a Commander staple and even let it break into Modern a bit, which I guess makes it the most broken card of the year, more or less by default, because there just aren't a ton of good options

Since Selvala, Heart of the Wilds exists, I wouldnt recommend using this cat shaman as your green commander, but I absolutely think this could go in the 99 of any deck thats running a lot of expensive stompy creatures

Gifting an opponent the monarchy is annoying, but in a deck with card draw punishers like Nekusar, the Mindrazer, you can work around it
