I think what were also going to get is a set of changes for how Commander decks are categorized, and that carries some interesting implications as well
Their visual novelty was seen as a big plus, and the fact that one card had two different spells on it, each with their own name, was seen as exciting new mechanical space
This is still a really nice addition to decks that want to untap an artifact or two, like Traxos, Scourge of Kroog
