The cutest Pokmon of all time, it seems, may not be in the Pokdex at all - but in our homes, whining for treats and scratching the couch cushions

These factors do still apply to modern Pokmon cards, just on a smaller scale (look up the price of an Umbreon VMAX, for example)

They will usually have some sort of icon on the surface of the card to help you differentiate between printings
